A LONG-TERM PARTNERSHIP

Over years of collaboration with Meta, dating back to the Facebook era I led design efforts across a range of landing pages and brand initiatives. By the time the company rebranded, aboutmeta.com had grown complex and inconsistent, built from disconnected modules without shared principles. When the ask came to modernize the experience, I saw an opportunity to create a scalable system that could unify how Meta shows up.

FROM ATOMIC TO MODULAR

My team began at the atomic level: documenting brand standards, defining type, color, grid, and motion, and building a library of foundational components, buttons, inputs, cards, and navigation patterns. These atomic pieces evolved into a modular framework flexible enough to handle both legacy content and new storytelling needs. I ensured every decision balanced familiarity with forward motion, setting the stage for a truly cohesive system.

SHOWCASE META'S MISSION

Beyond company information, my team pressure-tested the system across Trust & Safety, Careers, and the Meta Store validating patterns and ensuring a smooth migration of content. The result was a cohesive, scalable design system that connected corporate transparency, culture, and innovation under one unified language.

UNIFIFYING THE ECOSYSTEM

The system extended naturally into Trust & Safety surfaces covering privacy, transparency, and community standards. These sections required warmth and accessibility without losing authority. I advocated for designed layouts that balanced rich photography at varying ratios with more utility-driven content, ensuring the right mix of emotion and structure. 

SCALING TO TECHNOLOGIES

From past experience working with Meta, I knew that surfacing and highlighting both the product and its impact would be essential for the design system. We built in ways to feature physical and software products side by side with the people who use them, creating moments of connection and purpose throughout the experience while keeping Meta’s mission at the center.
